The present invention pertains to vehicle lighting systems, and more specifically, to a wireless controlled lighting system that allows for remote operation and customization of lighting functions.
The Illumi Connect T-01 installed on a Single Truck consists of a Master unit & a Slave unit.
The Illumi Connect T-01 installed on a Super-Link Truck consists of a Master unit & 2 Slave units
ILLUMI MOBILE APP The system is operated via a user-friendly mobile application, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. It offers a comprehensive range of features, such as automatic activation, based on vehicle movement or external environmental conditions. Safety is enhanced through features such as emergency lighting activation during sudden braking, automatic turn signal integration. Designed for ease of installation, the system utilizes plug-and-play connectors compatible with standard truck lighting configurations, ensuring low-latency communication and secure device pairing.
How Our System Works: • The Master Unit is mounted on the horse (truck) and the Slave Unit on the trailer. • For Super-Link combinations, an additional Slave Unit is installed on the second trailer. • Once the truck is switched on, the system establishes a secure WLAN connection, synchronizing the trailer lights with the truck’s lights. • A built-in test function allows the trailer lights to be checked even when not connected to the horse. No cables that can get stolen, that can cause downtime and costs to replace cables

Traditional Truck-Trailer Cable Systems ISSUES

Maintenance and Durability Issues - Exposure to weather elements such as rain, snow, and road debris lead to cable wear and tear. Repeated plugging and unplugging during loading/unloading increases damage risk.

Current industry solutions rely on physical security methods such as locks and protective covers. These measures are not always effective and do not address the root issues of physical cable dependency, cost, and operational reliability.
